My oldest son just turned 11 years old yesterday. He has grown into such a fine young man. I am such a proud momma, he helps me in so many ways. We had big plans for this weekend and then our plans all changed. My husband got hurt on saturday morning and sprang his ankle real bad. So he has been house bound and crippled all weekend. We had to get him some crutches to get around on. So we ended up spending the weekend home and relaxing. I am so sorry Elisha that things didn't work out like we planned but I am so proud of you for being so good about it.

It is so hard to believe that Elisha is 11! He is turning into a great young man! He is seriously a sweetie! Before we blink, he'll be driving. And tell him that I said, "Before I know it, he'll be taller than me". He LOVES rubbing that in my face! LOL.

OK I no that this was on another post but I thought I would hit your last few posts in one comment hehee when my LaShanna turned 3 we had trouble too we just needed to stay on top of it and it calmed down in a few months so hang in there things will get better. I just realized that you are moving to Oregon you are so lucky I miss my brethren there and in Idaho I will pray all thing go well for you on your move love you. Sister Charlene
Let me first say i thought this was going to be and adventurous post when i first looked at the picture of Elisha and the gator lol. Thats funny. I'm sorry to hear that your hubby hurt himself :(. That really is sweet that Elisha had a good heart about the plans changing.
Sorry about Lees ankle. Sure hope it heals fast. I can't believe that Elisha is 11! Unreal.
Wow! 11! That's a big year. When I was 10 and looking forward to my 11th birthday, I once told Mom (in these exact words) "I rather admire the number eleven!" She laughed for a looong time! I'm sure that it was okay with Elisha to have to have a change of plans, I'm happy for you all that he was so good about it (including happy for him).

Andy turned 11 right after we moved to Oklahoma. Oh how the time flies!!! 16 is right around the corner, believe me!
