{ Piano Recital }

We had our first piano recital the other day. I must say it was a blast. I love watching the kids show off what they have learned. Here is a few pictures of my talented little ones doing there thing.

School.....again.....

A few weeks ago I went to the Homeschool Convention in OKC and ordered the kids some new school. I so love what I got so far. I got the Switched-On Schoolhouse from Alpa Omega. I felt like it was Christmas when we recieved it. We got it all set up and made the kids start early. So far we have had two real good days of doing our new school. The kids seem to enjoy it so far. We are also doing Math-u-see also. I so love the math-u-see. I must say it is my favorite math so far. The kids seem to understand what they are learning with it. I like having most of the subjects on the computer it seems to help out alot. I still have to help them some. But I can clean while they are doing there work and stop when needed to assist. We decided to go on ahead with this next years school early and have a jump start. We never know what is going to happen in our life to make school stop for a period. So we thought we would get a jump on it so we don't get behind. This is a picture of Stormie playing a learning game I found at the Apple Tree. It teaches spelling and reading.

Dream come true

The last few nights Lee thought he could see deer at the back of land. So he set up his deer camera to catch them in action. So this morning he went out and got the sd card out of the camera so we could see. These are a few of the pictures he got. The camera probably got about 25 pictures or more. I must say this is his dream, to have land with deer on it. We had some other land but it had so much flat land that his dream didn't last long there. It was beautiful land though, but this is so much more what he wanted. I must say I love to wake up and look out and only see land. And know that it is only 5 minutes to the store. And I must say that I have not seen that many bugs that have freaked me out yet. We went and bought some (guines) to help keep the tick situation down. They are being raised in the garage and when they get big enough we will let them go to have a feast in our yard with all the bugs they can eat. This is a picture of the little critters that will be helping us on our quest to free our yard of bugs.

Outside

Well this is the outside of our home. My husband is so loving having all the land. He is a big hunter so he has his deer feeder out and plans to put in some food plots. He also has a nice shop that he is renting to the previous owners for a couple of months. My husband is very spoiled I must say. But that is o.k. I still love him as long as he spoils me along the way. (hehehe)

My House

Well this is my new house. And I am very excited about it. I love how my living, dining room and kitchen is all one room. The only down fall is that I only have 2 rooms. But I can live with it until we can add on. I will take pic's of the land and outside next time. My home has been a blessing and we do love it.

LAND RUN

A few weeks ago I took the kids to Oklahoma City to the land run. They taught the kids about some history about the land run. They had a real good time, they put together a old time tent. Played with the toys that they had back then. It was a real nice learning time for the kids but mostly fun to do. We had no idea what we was getting into when we went so we thought we would check it out. I am hoping to lots of field trips this next year.

Party

We finally got settled and went ahead and had a birthday party for Samuel. He so enjoyed himself. He was so excited about his party. He didn't understand the concept until he saw the cake. I had my mom make him a Dumbo cake since he so loves Dumbo.

We are in our house, feels great. It took us for ever to get our internet up and running. But it is done and I am so glad to get back on and talk to everyone again. Life is good. Our little home is so nice I will take some pics as soon as I can.
