TASTE OF HOME

Last night I went to a Taste of Home cooking show. I had a wonderful time. A dear sister asked me to go and I am so glad that she did. Thanks Sis Janet. I took my mom with me. We had a very nice time and learned lots of new things. I did not know that you should let your meat get to room temperture before you cook it. I always thought it would go bad. Who new, not me. When we walked in they gave us this bag of goodies for coming. They even gave me free sonic coupons and who ever knows me that was a gold mine. hehehe They had lots of boths to look at with free stuff at the tables. I am a sucker for free stuff. hehe They gave lots of free gifts away. I didn't win any but that is o.k. Nothing that they gave away I can't buy for myself. I just hope that the ladies who won needed what they got. The one thing I really wanted was the little flat t.v. for my kitchen. So I guess I will inform Lee that I need that for my new kitchen. They cooked so many delicious foods that it is getting me in the cooking mood. I have needed a motivation lately, I have been the worse about cooking. So know lets if I can get myself in gear. I guess I need a little motivation every know and then. I will have to go to the homeschool convention to get some motivation on the schooling part also. May is right around the corner so it will be here before we even know it.

my day

Hey Guys, Sorry I have been gone lately. My life has been so busy lately. So let me catch you up on things. Well to start things off we have gotten our final approval on our loan. So we will be the new owners of 10.6 acre, a huge shop, and a small home. But I am very excited about the move. Things have been going very fast for us. We got a call saying that we can close sooner than expected. Very exciting right, well a little nerve racking for me. I can't wait to close but we have to have so much money to close and I was looking forward to having the extra time. So when I read Trina's blog it gave me much hope. Then on sunday we got confirmation that this was the Lords will. By the way it felt real good to hear that. He also told us to get into the homes. (So friends beware). I am very excited to live around my friends again.

By the way I tried to post this morning, and my post got lost. So I will have more to post now since so much has happened in such a few hours. I was planning on going to help my sister-in-law unpack this morning. So I started on my way when all the sudden my little girl told me that she was itching. So looked at her and noticed she had little red spots on her. Mmmm I thought and ran by a older sisters home that I know and asked her to look at her. Yep she has CHICKEN POX she told me. Great I thought so much to do and here we go with a staying home time. So I went and told my sister-in-law about my situation. And then I went to have my husband watch the kids so I could go back and help her. Well when I got into his truck to leave I decided to back up. Did I pay attention (NO) I just backed up with out paying attention. Guess what happened? I had forgot that it had rained last night. So I got his truck stuck in the mudd. Oh ya I am a pro when it comes to getting a vehicle stuck. I have done so many times that my husband is becoming a pro at getting them out. hehehe. So by the time we got it out my day was over. I had a headache because I didn't eat lunch yet. So I just went home to relax. So here I am telling you all of my situation. By the way if you ever need help getting your vehicles stuck I am the woman to call. heheeh

Fogo De Chao

As you all know I went on a little business trip with my husband. It was a o.k. trip but not what I was really wanting. I had a vision in my head of this nice romantic time away with no kids. Well lets just say that was not it at all. We got there late at night on Tuesday night. So we were so tired that we just went straight to bed. No cuddle time at all. But the place we stayed at was very nice. It was a marriot with a huge king size bed. The most comfortable hotel bed that I have ever been in. On Wednesday Lee went to his siminar all day and by time he was done he was so tired. He feel asleep on the bed. And I as usual just read my book. That evening the schluter company took us out for dinner. They took us to a very nice restuarant called Fogo De Chao it is a Brazilian Steak house. I must say I was very impressed by this restuarant. When you come in they seat you and they have this huge salad bar. Not the normal salad bar I tell you. I was very impressed with the selections they gave you. Oh ya they served you water in a chilled wine glass. And the water was from Italy. They poured it out of a bottle that looked like a wine bottle. Very classie!!!! After the salad they served you 14 different types of meat. Any kind of steak imaginable plus chicken and lamb. They just kept bringing it on. As much as you could eat. They also placed mashed potatoes, fried bananas, and fried cured on the table to eat. They served the best limeade I have ever had. Yummy After dinner they also served a wonderful desert. I must say this is a wonderful resuarant. The only problem is that it is very expensive. Thank goodness the schluter was paying for it. We looked at the prices on the menu and I will tell you that it is around $50 to $70 dollars a person. Depending on your desert and drinks. But I will recomend it if you can put away the meat. By the time we got back to the motel we were so stuffed that we were miserable the rest of the night. The next morning we were still full from the night before. So we got around and Lee left for another meeting while I got stuff around to check out. Had to check out by 12:00 and just drive around until he was done. Then we came home. This was my romantic few days away with no kids. Hopefully next time I will get more romance but at least I got Fogo De Chao .

Sunburns

We had a business picnic on Sunday for our workers. It turned out so nice, the kids had a blast. They got to fish and play outside all day long. We grilled burgers and hotdogs. yummy The weather was awesome with a nice little breeze. The only problem was it felt so nice we didn't pay much attention to the sun. We did put on sunblock at first but forgot to check it later. So know we have kids with sunburns. My oldest has blisters on the nose and chapped lips. ouch He is putting on his oloe vera to help but it sure looks sore. The baby has been a crank and driving me crazy. Not that I had far to go anyways. Well tomorrow I will be leaving on a business trip with my honey and no kids. I can't wait!!! I so need some time alone to relax. I will take my labtop if I don't forget. I might be stuck in the room alone for a long time while he is at meetings.

whoooooo I'm tired

Today has been a wonderful day. I feel as though I have accomplished so much in one day. We started bright and early and got everyone around to begin our hectic day. First I must say we are in the process of buying a house. My husband is in hog heaven. He will have a huge shop and 10.6 acres to hunt. Yes it is mostly hunting land. The house is quite homey, very small but I am happy about it. It is a 2 bedroom and 2 bath. But a nice size living area and that is important to me. We will eventually add on but for know we will deal with it. We won't close for a couple of months. They need time to get a place for there business so we agreed on two months. God so worked this out. They actually had a offer before us but they said that they really liked us so agreed to give it to us. We did all this in the morning then had to drive a hour away to get our taxes done. Did that and had to drive another hour for piano lessons. Then 20 min. away for tae kwon do, did that then had to drive a hour and 15 min to get to 4-H in time. (the things we do so our kids our well rounded) whooooo When we finished for the day it was 8:30 at night and I still had to do payroll. Won't have happy employees if we don't give them there checks. So know I am typing and telling you guys my so boring life. Well I must get off here I have another busy day tomorrow. We are having a business picnic for our workers and I am going shopping for the food. So have a wonderful evening. lol

This is my new washer and dryer. And it is a silver color. Yes it is wonderful but a little tricky for my simple brain. Sooooo many buttons to read to make it just right not the same as the old dial and spin. But I am enjoying it.

Lots has happened lately. I feel as if God is still working with us. I was laying in bed when I got a phone call and someone is trying to get a loan on our boat. yayaya
It would be awesome since we never use it. It is real nice though and we are selling it real cheap. But it will be another bill gone. After the call me and the man were talking about if we should move or stay. And another phone call on the house. Everytime we think about staying I get a call on the house. No offers yet though. He said they might come and look next weekend. And the other lady is coming in from oregon next week also. So who knows we might be having to get a house. But untill then I will continue to fix this one up and see what happens. God has his plan and we shall just obey as long as we have our ears open to hear. Till tomorrow or when I get the urge to type my thoughts. Type at you later. lol

I told you about my new washer and dryer well know I have a delima. The place where they go has issues. My laundry room is also my closet and it is not that big to be both. My husband put up a closet organizer in there to make things neater. My washer and dryer that is coming is a front loader. My old set is a top loader. As you can tell we did not think this thing very clear before we went and bought. This is the story of our life. We don't think things through all the time. (what a shocker) I have friends who research things out very well. Then there is us spur of the moment people. So I asked my wonderful brother to come up and help on some things on the house. So him and my hubby have lots of rearanging things.(what joy for them)

Since I am having company I decided to make dinner and it smells yummy. I made Italian homemade speghetti and alfredo sauces. And chicken with procetto awesome. So ladies who ever is in the mood for food come on over, I over cooked by far. I also have homemade lasagna in the fridge. So for know I will leave this computer and finish dinner.

I hope we can figure out the washer and dryer thing or else I will be calling you Teresa with a great deal. hahaha. By the way don't pray against me on this o.k. lol

life

I am very excited my hunny is coming home early. I feel like a little school girl. He called and said he would be here in a few hours. I am so glad that I am still, if not more in love than the day we got married.

I have been doing a overhaul on my house lately. We are in the middle of trying to decide if we want to stay here and fix the house up or move into another. So many decisions to make. I get quit confused on the whole thing. Every time I get content on staying here someone calls on my house. But everytime I look at other homes I can't find exactly what I want. And if I do find what I want it is out of my budget.
Maybe our wants are to high. But I am a girl who wants what she wants. hehehe

So for know I will take my time and fix this up while I am looking for another. You never know, maybe God has plans for us that we don't even know about. Thanks for letting me vent on you all. I so enjoy sharing my life, wish it was more interesting, but this is the life of the Bosch's.

holding the fort down

After I decided to get off the computer and help on the quest to find the belt. You will not believe what I found oh ya it was the belt. Right were I told her to go and look. What a shocker!!!!

Lee is out of town working tonight so I am left to hold the fort down by myself. What joy when you have a child who won't stop crying. He has had the worst luck with his little fingers. Every time I turn around he is pinching them, shutting them, falling on them, he keeps hurting them. The poor guy has the worst luck when it comes to his fingers. So every time I talk to Lee all he hears is him crying. What joy!!! Please pray that he gets past this clumsy stage and stops hurting himself all the time. But he is just one almost two so I'm sure this is common for most little boys. He is much more of a ruf and tumble boy than my Elisha is.

missing belt

O.k. I have a problem with my sweet little girl. As you know her name is Stormie and yes her name fits her to a T. She has misplaced her tae kwon do belt. She is supposed to keep up with her own stuff.( right). She gets in trouble and all I here is that its not her fault. Well it is her fault I try to tell her. My daughter is a definte dram queen the bawling and saying its not my fault. So how do you teach children responsibilty. I do my best, but it is so much work. The children are doing the search of the house but are having no luck. So I must go and join in on the search. Wish us luck and pray for Stormie that I don't get angry at her for she has problems talking back.

laundry ughhh.....yaaaaa

Guess what ladies. My wonderful hubby went and bought me a new washer and dryer tonight. They will be delivered on saturday. I am so excited I can't wait to do laundry with them. It is so awesome. You have to understand I hate laundry and I am hopping this will help with my enthusiasm since I will be ables to do twice the laundry at once. When I get it I will take a pic.

MEN AND WOMEN

I was discussing the difference between women and men with some ladies yesterday. And it is so true that men and women think on such different levels. O.k. let me start out with myself, my wonderful husband is such a MAN. He never gets my oh but subtle clues. We will be driving and I will make the comment that I am thirsty. Does he stop (NO) not unless I directly tell him to stop. He does not get the CLUE. (go figure)I drop clues all the time with hope that someday he will catch on to them. I have come to the conclusion that he never will. So I must accept this and go on. lalalala........ So ladies I must say we must love them no matter what. If they are clueless or not. My hope has been pretty much demolished since one of ladies I was talking with is in her 60's and been married 49 yrs. And she still has had no change.

I must also add that my husband has some great qualities that I would never change. I think his clue finder is on default. And will just bear with him on that.lol

My friends

O.K. Ladies I thank you very much for making my evening and going to town with me. You know who you are. hehehe I had a blast, I got to eat a plate of food without sharing it with my kids. Have adult conversations and no kids listening in. (precious time)We went to the mall, and window shopped. I was so proud of myself I am learning how to restrain myself from buying everything that I see. (kudos for me) Yes my good friends know what I mean by that. hehehe..... Oh ya we also got to use the escaltors, haven't used them in so long. Always having to find a elevator and wait in line. It was so cool. We went to target and again I only spent $10.00 there. Yaaaa... I did awesome again. You should be so proud of me. For those who don't me very well I have a spending problem. Yes, I am working on that very hard right know. Be proud because I am doning very good. I want you two ladies to know that I have decided it should be a law to have girls night out at least once a month. So just wait I will be bugging you guys again. Thank you very much I so needed this and you two mean the world to me. Friends like you don't come around very often. lol

excited

O.K. ladies, tonight is my night to go out with the girls. (yaaa) I so can't wait I will get to shop with no one saying (I'm bored), (I'm hungry), (I'm tired), (I want that). So I must say that I will be short so I can go get ready. I am so excited I invited two of my good friends and I so hope they both get to go with me. So for know I will say good bye and I'll be back later.

spoiled

I really feel as though God has done wonders in our life lately. He has given us more than I ever wanted, I feel as though I am very spoiled in so many ways. I have three wonderful children, they make me laugh, cry, and make me mad at times but the good lord gave them to me and I am so thankful. I have a wonderful husband who wants to serve the Lord. He treats me very good, on our tenth anniversary he planned a trip to Hawaii for us. I had the most wonderful time, the two of us alone with no one yelling our names. Peaceful nights and days. I must that say it was nice but I did miss my kids alot. Thank you God for your blessings and watchful care over my family.

searching

I am having the worst time getting on my blog from my home computer. My labtop does fine, go fugure. Maybe its time to get another computer. hehehe My husband would not like hearing that. Well we have been doing the house searching, we decided to go ahead and stay here in Oklahoma. So we plan on moving back up to Sapulpa and buying a house. yikes..... So much to do.
We are doing the whole house, searching I am learning so much. I so enjoy looking at the homes and trying to decide what will be the best for our family. Lots of fun......... Keep praying for us that we can do what God wants us to do.

On the other hand my little man has decided to show us his voice. Oh ya thats right he knows how to scream so loud that you would think his hand has been cut off. But no he's o.k. he is just mad that he didn't get his way with somethin. And we must be beyond mean because we didn't give in. What joy to hear his loud pitch voice. yeeeeee
